Naismith Engineering, Inc. (est. 1949), is one of the largest Civil Engineering and Environmental Consulting Firms in South Texas. We have recently developed an Architectural Division by combining with an established South Texas firm of 10 years. NEI seeks a highly motivated professional to join their Architectural staff for full-time employment. NEI performs all types of projects, including but not limited to: Assembly; Business; Governmental; Educational; High Rise; Multifamily Residential and Recreational.

Must possess the following for consideration:

• BS, BA or MA in Architecture from an accredited Architectural Program
• Architect’s License – preferably in Texas
• Minimum 5 years experience as Project Architect
• Proficient in Autocad- preferably Autocad Architecture (ADT) 2008
• Proficient in a rendering program such as Autodesk’s 3D Studio Max 2008
• Capable in preparation and oversight of work by self and others for complete design and construction process
• Proficiency in working with Owners, Consultants and a multi-disciplined staff

Desired Accreditations and skills

• LEED accreditation and experience
• Revit capability a plus
• Good written and verbal skills
• Self-motivated
