So- What is the AIA?
The American Institute of Architects is
the largest association for the architectural profession.
We exist to promote and advance the profession and the
living standards of people through their built environments.
Our membership is composed of 83,000 architects,
interns and other professionals who work directly in
the architectural profession. The majority of the registered
architects in the United States proudly display the
three letters "AIA" after their names.
AIA members belong to three levels of
the Institute- local, state, and national. In this way,
the profession can work from grassroots through the
overarching national agenda, to ensure the integrity
of the profession in upheld, regulations make sense,
and opportunities for improvements are forged.
By clicking on the symbol to your left, you will be
sent directly to the Code of Ethics Page of the American
Institute of Architect's website.
Here you will find our standards for professionalism.
By sending you direct, it is our way of making sure
that the most current information is made available
to you.
